Whether creating education tools to teach patients how to self-administer injections, improving discharge methods for patients, or streamlining bedside reporting during change of shift, the CNL is a transformational leader, a patient’s voice, and a revolutionary addition to the clinical care arena.
On June 18th, 2010, the University of San Francisco School of Nursing will host its 3rd annual Clinical Nurse Leader conference. Through the narratives of CNLs and managers alike, this conference will focus on Clinical Nurse Leader practice within the microsystem and the potential that the CNL role has for enhancing the journey toward achieving Magnet Recognition.
